Baris K - Istanbul

Baris has been a ground breaking force in Istanbul's club scene since the 90s, a key player in the legendary Gizli Bahce (Secret Garden), Kod Muzik and Godet parties, and one of the first local DJs to bring the sound of Funk, Jazz, Afrobeat, Disco and Reggae to the ears of Istanbul. With his excellent radio shows on Dinamo FM and his revival of forgotten Turkish disco and funk classics from the 70s, Baris presents an original and eclectic mix of disco friendly music with an Anatolian twist.
